Job Description
Heredity Biosciences is looking for a motivated and skilled Bioinformatics Analyst to join our research and data analysis team. The candidate will be involved in handling and analyzing biological datasets generated from genomics, transcriptomics, metabolomics, GC-MS, LC-MS, and other omics-based platforms.
The role requires strong analytical skills, biological data interpretation abilities, and hands-on experience in computational biology and bioinformatics workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Genomic and transcriptomic data analysis
- NGS data processing and interpretation (Optional)
- GC-MS and LC-MS data analysis
- Biological pathway and functional analysis
- Sequence analysis, alignment, and annotation
- Statistical and bioinformatics data interpretation
- Preparation of scientific reports and data visualization
- Support research projects related to molecular biology and omics technologies
- Literature review and database mining
- Collaborate with laboratory and research teams

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of bioinformatics tools and databases
- Experience with genomic and omics data analysis
- Understanding of sequencing technologies and molecular biology
- Familiarity with GC-MS/LC-MS analytical workflows
- Basic programming or scripting knowledge is preferred
- Good communication and scientific documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and in a research-oriented environment

Qualification
M.Sc. or equivalent degree in:
- Biotechnology
- Bioinformatics
- Life Sciences
- Or relevant discipline
Experience
- 0–3 years of relevant experience
- Freshers with strong practical and analytical skills are encouraged to apply
